Save independent midwifery
Independent midwives offer a unique and valuable service. They provide care on the “one woman one midwife” model, providing personalised, high quality midwifery care throughout pregnancy, birth and after the baby is born.
Independent midwives include some of the UK’s most experienced midwives, who are confident and experienced with home VBACs, breech births and even twin births.
Their continued existence is currently under threat due to their inability to obtain professional insurance, and they are asking supporters to write to their MP.
